We had a devastating incident this week. Brody and Bridger were fighting over something really really important (my mom's sewing measuring tape) and Bridger ended up losing the game of tug-of-war. His face slammed into the tile and his cute little front tooth chipped. I didn't realize it at first- my mom saw something white on his lip and just wiped it off. He cried forever and I was wondering what was wrong. Then I was trying to make him laugh and when he finally did, I saw his tooth. It makes me sad everytime I see it because it will be there for like 6 years until it falls out. He looks like a hillbilly but he is still cute and I still love him (and I still love Brody too even though he isn't always the nicest big brother).

Random Las Vegasness
We've been here for almost a month- it doesn't seem like we've been here that long, but we've been busy, so that makes it go by faster. We are waiting for it to cool down a little so we can play outside for more than 10 minutes without melting.
I went to Disneyland with no kids this last weekend- just 5 other girls and me...so fun! I don't have the pictures yet so I will wait until another day to post about that. My mom and dad were sooo nice to watch the kids for 3 days while I was gone. Thanks, mom and dad (and Michael and Amanda too!).
We have been checking out all the parks around here. The Henderson Parks and Recreation department here is amazing. I wish we had just 1% of what Henderson has in Grovetown, Georgia. There are parks and activities and recreation centers EVERYWHERE.
This picture is for Adam. This is his favorite Bridger face. Bridger knows how funny I think this face is so he humors me and lets me have a laugh every once in a while.
My mom took the boys shopping for a few toys so they had something to do during the day. They got a tool box and I think I was more excited about it than they were. Do these goggles make my face look fat?
Yesterday we got together with my best friend from high school Kendra and her little boy Casen. We went to the park until we were sufficiently sweaty and then to the mall and had pretzels and lemonade. Bridger ended up throwing quite a tantrum and throwing my drink on the floor and screaming while I struggled to get him in the stroller. Good times.
Adam is doing well. The people in charge of him are doing everything they can to keep him safe and alive. I can't wait until he gets home so I can stop worrying about him. This deployment has definitely made me appreciate him more and put things in perspective. Also, he is attractive.
Thank you for all your prayers, phone calls and emails checking in with me. I miss everyone in Georgia, but I'm so glad I am able to be here with my family.

I've Been Busy, Okay?
I think this is the longest I have ever gone without posting. We are in Las Vegas now with my parents and we are finally getting a routine down and waking up at a semi-reasonable hour in the morning. (Is 5am reasonable? Close enough, right?)
We have had a lot going on. I don't have pictures of everything because I don't know how to do anything on my parents' Mac, but I'll do my best.
Last weekend (2 days after we got here) we drove to Utah for my sister's wedding. It was at the Homestead in Midway, Utah and it was beautiful. The weather was perfect and Audrey was stunning. It was fun to finally meet her husband, Mike, who is so great- and perfect for her. Brody was the little ring bearer so he wore a cute tux. The only problem was that the shoes I brought for him to wear hadn't been worn for a while and didn't even come close to fitting so he had to wear his brown sandals with his black tux. Completely unacceptable but what do you do? Also, by the time we were taking pictures Brody had managed to wipe snot and cake all over his tux, which is also unacceptable. Brody's adorable cousin Cadence looked like a little princess in her flower girl dress and Brody and Cadence looked so cute together. They danced and played and laughed and I wanted to take pictures of it all and make greeting cards with them. Bridger was there but slept through most of it so we don't have a lot of photo documentation of him being there.
Other big news in our family is that we finally got a van. I know- it may sound lame to some of you, but it is pretty exciting for us. It is so nice to put a movie on and actually drive somewhere in peace while my children become tv junkies. It's rad.
As far as an update on Adam, he is doing well. He is keeping himself busy and making the most of the experience. I miss him like crazy and in case anyone is wondering, I will never let him leave me again.

Happy Anniversary!!
Can you believe it? Jess and I have been married for 6 whole years! Wowsers. That is rad - and I am lucky.
We still feel so young, and yet here we are six years married, with two crazy little kids - its like we're grown ups or something!
Unfortunately I'm far away for this anniversary, but I wanted to let everyone know how awesome it is to be married and in love - even after 6 whole years! I know the world around us must find that to be incredible, but its true. We have a great marriage. We've grown together and learned together. We've come a long way in our relationship and I look forward to the long road we will travel together. I love Jess and I'm amazed by her.
Thank you all for taking such good care of her while I'm away. We could never even dream of better friends.
