So Much to Blog, So Little Time

We have been busy this summer. I don't even know where to start, so here are some of the things we have been up to:
Bridger LOVES riding his bike. All day long we hear, "I want to ride my bike." One morning I let him go out and ride it before breakfast and he didn't want to stop so I just gave him his breakfast outside and he couldn't stop riding long enough to eat.
We also have been going to the Y a couple times a week. Bridger was scared of the water the first time and now he runs and swims and splashes all over the kiddy pool. He's such a big boy!

Adam's parents decided to make a last minute trip down here before they move to Hawaii. They had a lot of nice furniture that they were getting rid of so they rented a trailer and brought it down for us to have. I'm pretty excited about the china hutch. It's really pretty. The boys always love when Nana and Pappas come to visit. They get their undivided attention all day long. Pappas lays in bed with them before naps and sings and reads to them.

A weekend with Nana and Pappas wouldn't be complete without a few wrestling sessions. They giggle and laugh and jump and tease and then at the end, one of them ends up crying. They love it!
One day when Adam got home from work, he decided to blow up some water balloons. They had a little water balloon fight (I think Adam won). Then when Adam's mom and I got home from the store, we pulled up and got the daylights scared out of us when a water balloon flew at the window and broke. Scary!
Bridger's first shaving lesson. He also got to brush Pappas' teeth in the morning.
Storytime.
Nap time.
Bridger had his first dentist appointment this week. He was so good. He opened up and said "ah" whenever they asked him to. They gave him headphones and he got to watch cartoons while he waited for the dentist to come in. He got a new cool toothbrush and got to pick a prize from the treasure chest. I'm so proud of him.
We went and saw "Up" with Adam's parents and it was so cute. The boys did really well sitting down and being quiet in the theater. Towards the end of the movie when it was kind of a mushy moment and the grandpa was being nice to the little boy, Bridger turned to Pappas and gave him a big hug. I was impressed that he was feeling the emotions of the movie and had to show the love he was feeling. That kid is a sweety.

Some other highlights of their trip include: Eating a Shane's Rib Shack for the first time (and then the second time) and absolutely loving it, going to Jump City, going for a walk at the walking trails at our soon-to-be new neighborhood (yes, we are moving to a nicer neighborhood here in Grovetown), and playing "Hold to the Rod" with his parents again (and beating them again). Fun times.

Well, you should be proud of us old geezers, I think we figured out how to leave a post. So here is. We loved our time with you guys. We love you both and we love your children. However Jess, it was me who made up the water balloons with the boys so we could get Adam and you when you came home. Thanks for welcoming us into your home. love you bunch. See you in Kauai. papas and nanas. :)

I think Craig is either really brave or really (dumb) to let Bridger shave him. But Bridger will always love seeing that picture! Sounds like a ton of fun. I can't wait to come see you all in 2 weeks and 1 day!
