The Sixth and Final of Many Posts About Our Trip to Las Vegas: Family

This is everyone. Well, everyone minus Adam, which seems to happen more than it should. He had to leave halfway through our vacation to go back to work, which was/is lame.

This is when my brother Michael went through the temple. I'm so glad I was able to be there. He's special...and not in a handicapped kind of way.
My mom pretends that she's not hilarious but here's proof that she's funny (and attractive). Side note: Zach, that doesn't look right. Are you sure that period doesn't go after the parenthesis?
All six of us were together. That hardly ever happens. These are my peeps. For real.
It was so so so good to see Jacob. We weren't very close growing up. As in we hated each other's guts. I love that as a grown-up, he is funny and has become a lot less violent (wink to Jacob) and a lot more considerate. He made me laugh. A lot. And how cute is he as an uncle? Also, I kept Jack's face in the picture because he smiles whenever a camera is out and I like it.

The Fifth of Many Posts About Our Trip to Las Vegas: High School Friends

Whenever I go back home, I try to see some of my old friends. Kendra and Heather are now moms, just like I am. It is always fun to get together and catch up. This time was no exception. We took the kids to a jumpy bouncy place and they LOOOVED it. Brody still talks about wanting to go there again soon. Too bad.
These are two cool girls.

The Fourth of Many Posts About Our Trip to Las Vegas: Trips to the Pool(s)

We went to the pool quite a few times while in Las Vegas. It is way too hot there. The humidity here is suffocating and disgusting but when I was outside there, I could feel my skin burning. It is slightly worse than the heat here. I think.

We went to the pool at the condo that we own there but it was kind of lame. My sister Eliza lives at an apartment complex with a really great pool. There is a kiddie section, a really cool waterfall-over-rocks thingy and nice chairs with shady umbrellas. She let us swim there a few times and we loved it there. It was a nice escape from the gross hot air. We went once with most of my siblings but I don't have those pics. Adam was a kind photographer. I guess I could have taken some pictures of him but I'm not thoughtful like that.

Brody learned to swim while we were there, which is awesome since I spent $10 on some nice arm floaties right before we left for Vegas. Now he's too good for them apparently. He was so excited that he learned how to swim and that he's not afraid to go underwater anymore.

Bridger and I hung out together. He had fun jumping into my arms in the pool. He's a sweet little boy. Also, don't worry. I cropped out Brody picking his nose in that picture.
'Nuff said.

The Third of Many Posts About Our Trip to Las Vegas: Everyone Gets to Meet Penny!

This was Penny's first trip to Las Vegas (and also her first trip out of the Augusta area). She did great on the plane rides, especially considering the fact that on the way home, we got stuck in Dallas overnight and had 3 flights altogether to get from Vegas to Augusta. She's a trooper. A cute one.

We were excited for everyone to meet her and fall in love with her like we have.

Aunt Laura
This is Kendra, my best friend from high school. She loves babies more than anyone else I know. It was fun to see her with Penny.
Uncle Zach. Don't be alarmed. He hardly ever looks this creepy.Cadence is going to be such a good mommy. Isn't she sweet?
Ummm...I always forget the difference between second cousin and first cousin once removed. I think Amelia is one of those to Penny. Plus my dad and her dad are twins so maybe half aunt?
Grandpa Parry deserves a shout-out for all the times he "babysat" my kids while they were sleeping. Thanks, Daddy.

Also, thanks, Mom for all the babysitting (minus the quotation marks) you did for me. You're am-A-zing!

The Second of Many Posts About Our Trip to Las Vegas: Cousins

Since we live in gross hot Georgia, our kids rarely get to see their cousins. I only have one brother who has kids and his kids are all close in age to my kids. We just like having babies at the same time.

We got to meet baby Grayson for the first time and boy is he yummy.Brody and Cadence. I am so glad they love to play together. One of my favorite moments was when I was listening to the 4 big kids play. Cadence was the only girl and the 3 boys were shooting each other and picking out who the bad guys were going to be. Then I heard Cadence: "No! We're playing getting married! I'm the mommy and you're the daddy!" I guess that's the difference between girls and boys.
Bridger was so excited to see Jack. Jack doesn't look AS excited but I'm sure he was.
I loved watching the kids love each other and play together.
How can you not love this face?

The First of Many Posts About Our Trip to Las Vegas: Brody's Plane Ride with Grandpa

Brody got to go for a ride in Grandpa Parry's airplane when we were in Vegas. I had told him that Grandpa had an airplane when we were on the way to Vegas and he couldn't believe it. When Grandpa said he would take him for a ride, he was so excited.
Doesn't he look like a (really young and under-aged) real pilot?
Take Off.
Bridger didn't get to go this time but he got to "pretend". He and Adam stayed behind and watched the airplane fly.
