Ogden

We were invited to the baptism of our good friends' son- Jonas Pilkington. We were friends in Georgia and have been living only an hour away for 2 years but have been too stupid to take time to hang out. We loved being there and seeing their kids who have gotten so old! The baptism was really nice- Jonas's grandma gave a talk about how our lives are like book ends. We have the beginning and the end and we choose what we put in between. It has been a tradition in their family for decades. What a great idea. After the baptism, we went to their home for lunch. It was the first time my kids had had sloppy joes and they were a hit! You could tell by Penny's clothes- what a mess.

Since we were in Ogden, we decided to find some fun things to do around there for the day.

We went to the Eccles Dinosaur Park. Adam lucked out and got an email that morning with a ksl deal for half off tickets. Jackpot. These were robotic dinosaurs that looked real.

They had a little craft building where you could make dinosaur masks, build things and explore. The kids all loved it and spent the most time there. Look at that happy Beckam face. I love when he's happy.

 Digging for dinosar bones.
Bridger found himself being chased by a giant t-rex. He's handsome even with his fake terrified face.
We stayed at the dinosaur park until it closed and then had a quick Wendy's dinner in preparation for our yummy dessert. We drove to Farr's ice cream right across the street from the Ogden temple and each picked out a flavor out of SO MANY flavors. 40? 50? I don't know- so many. Everyone was happy with their choices and we left full and satisfied. Wendy's was $13 for dinner, Farrs was $17 for ice cream. Explain that to me.
On the way back to Lehi, we stopped at the DI in Sandy to check out their puzzles and we SCORED. 17 awesome puzzles for $18. That will keep us busy for a few weeks.
