We've been really busy the last few weeks. So busy that we haven't taken a whole lot of pictures. Brody is out of school now and I thought the boys would be so bored at home, but we've had a lot to do. The weather has been great, minus a few rainy days, so they have gotten to get a lot of use of their Tonka trucks out in the sandbox. They also LOVE riding their bikes. The other day, they were riding their bikes and it started raining. They rode into the garage and were afraid to go out in the rain. I dared them each to ride to the end of the driveway and back. Brody was nervous (I don't know why- it's just water) but he did it and LOVED it. Bridger followed suit and he loved it too. They both rode around until they were completely soaked and then came inside and took a sweet bubble bath. It was fun to do something a little different.

Your kids are cute. I wish it rained here.
Love the smiles on their faces! That's true joy.
Why isn't there a picture of you out in the rain? Chicken?
Your boys are attractive.
Want to mail them to me?
Remember when mom called you a chicken?
Are you going to take that from her?
Well, are you?
That looks like so much fun. I always loved playing in the rain. And also Casen really enjoyed in the pictures too. He calls every little person a baby and so he said Baby and then started laughing. Then I told him to say Brody and Bridger and he didn't do too bad!
My kids favorite thing is to play in the rain.. now every time it rains they think they need to be out in it!.,. Crazys!
Your boys are getting so big!
Jessica,
There's nothing wrong with using the word "funnest" as long as you can defend its use when someone challenges you on it.
People's ire for using inflected forms of the word "fun" hearkens back to a time when it was frowned upon to use "fun" as anything more than a noun.
However, now it is widely accepted as an adjective, so it really makes no sense for people to hold on to the idea that something can't be funner or funnest.
So if anyone ever corrects you for saying one of the two, ask them why you shouldn't be using the word. Then, when they can't answer you (they most likely will not have an intelligent explanation handy) you tell them to pick their battles a little better because it is becoming more and more accepted, even among some strict pedants, to use comparative and superlative forms of "fun."
Hey--you were asking for an explanation when you mentioned me by name next to "funnest."
